Spiritual Life

Spiritual formation at LCCS is not a program that can be separated out from the curriculum, but is part and parcel of everything that we do. Academics, the arts, athletics, technology, and even lunch are all part of our spiritual lives when life is approached with an integrated biblical worldview. A biblical worldview does not separate life into sacred and secular components. Everything we think, feel, and do is submitted to the lordship of Jesus Christ.

Chapel services are held to enhance students' walks with the LORD through teaching, prayer, small groups, and worship. LCCS teachers and local Christian leaders are invited to share from God's Word in these important times of worship. Students and faculty are both involved in leading worship and in contributing to the chapel experience.

Throughout each academic year, students are encouraged to "put their faith into action" through various service and mission projects that impact the greater Lancaster area, our state, nation, and world. These service opportunities are designed to prepare students for national and international mission trips that are taken by our upper school students each year.
