Board Members

Jon Toy, PRESIDENT

Jon is originally from Lawton, Oklahoma. He and his wife Crystal have lived in Lancaster since 2004, relocating here to be closer to her family. Their three children are all currently enrolled at LCCS. Jon graduated from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Accounting and Financial Management and now owns a FASTSIGNS franchise. Their family worships at CV Church of Christ in Lancaster where Jon serves as worship ministry leader and elder.

Jason McDougall, VICE PRESIDENT 

Jason graduated from Messiah College with a degree in accounting. He and his wife Kristen have lived in Lancaster County since 2004. Their two children are both enrolled in the University Model® program at LCCS. Jason currently serves as the managing partner of Simon Lever, local business advisory and accounting firm. He is a member at Grace Community Church.

JAMIE DETWEILER 

Jamie grew up in Lancaster County and is a graduate of Messiah College.  Jamie and his wife Sarah have three children currently enrolled at LCCS.  A product of Christian education himself, Jamie believes strongly in the Christ-centered educational mission of LCCS and credits the UM® program for originally bringing them to LCCS.  When asked to summarize his reason for serving on the board, Jamie responded, “to support our talented team of teachers, staff, and administration as they partner with our parents to raise Godly leaders in our community and around the world.”  Jamie currently serves as a financial planner for a faith-based financial services company.  He is an member of Petra Church where he serves on the Finance Team.

Diane dissmore

Diane was born and raised in northern Wisconsin. She attended North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she met and married her husband Loren. They moved to Lancaster in 1985 when Loren accepted a teaching position at Lancaster Christian School. They have two grown children who both attended Living Word Academy and four grandchildren. Diane served as the Director of Development &Admissions at LWA/LCCS for 21 years before retiring in 2020. She has stayed involved at LCCS as a regular volunteer and continues to enjoy cheering on the LCCS Lions. Diane is a member of High Point Community Church.

Ron Glessner

Ron grew up in Grove City, PA, and graduated from a Christian high school. He and his wife Lisa recently celebrated 25 years of marriage. All four of their children are alumni of LCCS. After high school, Ron continued his studies at Word of Life Bible Institute and School of Youth Ministry. Ron serves at the Chief Strategy Officer at Zook Molasses Co., Good Food, Inc, and L & S  Sweeteners.

KURT GOOd

Kurt and his wife Janelle have 5 children, 4 of which currently attend LCCS. He attended traditional Christian schools for the entirety of his upbringing, and his family has really enjoyed the benefits and flexibility of the UM program as well as the middle & upper school 4-day option. Kurt grew up on a farm in Lancaster County, enjoys working in agriculture, and continues to operate the family business. They attend Christian Fellowship Church in New Holland.

ALISON HORST ('03)

Alison is a graduate of Lancaster Christian School. She received her degree in elementary education and Bible from Cedarville University. Alison taught second grade at LCCS for 7 years. Alison and her husband Ragen met at LCS and have two young daughters. They attend Calvary Church where Alison teaches 2nd grade Sunday School. They are so thankful for the LCCS's unwavering focus on truth and look forward to seeing students and families continue to build their lives on God and His Word.

STEVE TITUS

Steve previously served on the LWA Board for 6 years after his youngest child graduated. Now his grandchildren are all enrolled at LCCS. He and his wife Donna have recently celebrated 45 years of marriage. After selling his business and retiring in 2020. he has continued to invest in LCCS by volunteering in the facilities maintenance department. He feels honored to be asked to serve on the LCCS Board and looks forward to serving the school leadership and guide the school through the years ahead.
