The middle school program is designed to help in-betweenagers during this time of great change. Teachers address spiritual, social, emotional, and physical development of students and successfully transition them from a self-contained fifth grade classroom and give them the tools to be prepared for the growing independence that awaits them in high school.
The intellectual changes that occur during these transitional years enable students to reason at a deeper level and consequently begin to question many things that they have been taught during their childhood. Students seek to understand the "why" of matter previously accepted without question and are able to critically think about issues. During these transitional years, it is essential to provide solid Biblical teaching to help students to develop their own beliefs and values based on a Biblical worldview.
